    Default Black Lake 10-22-2014

Beautiful morning on Black Lake this morning. Managed to hem up 20 (15 crappie, 4 blue gills, 1 chink). Met Pastor down there and left him just before 9 am catching bream. Said when he had two or three more he'd have a mess and was leaving. He just wanted to get warmed up for dabone. Hope everyone catches their limits this weekend. Just save a few for seed. Caught in 9 fow 3-4' deep on my good buddy the ghost. Here is a pic of them. Enjoy.

I had ordered some of those jigs...you can bet I'll have 1 or 2 on the line this weekend at the bone! Going to try ziptailz skirt too while I'm at it! We'll see if one works better than the other.

Be sure and tie them on a loop knot LaFishNut. Watch the line close as they hit it mostly on the fall, half the time I never feel the bite, just see it by line kinking up.

Congratulations, J_ROW. And thanks for the help this morning. I wound up with 2 crappie, 2 bream, and two chinks from that hole. Then I moved out from under the bridge and began to wear them out on a brush pile over on top of the old bridge. I ended the day at about 11:00 with 14 crappie and 4 bream and 5 chinks. One of the crappie went 1lb 7oz. Thanks again. I hope you and your son have a great time together. Ya'll ought to think about joining TreeFrog and me at D'Arbonne. We going to eat good and have a great time whether we catch any fish or not.

Pastor I had better stick to Black Lake as I am pretty sure I can put him on some fish down there. Beside I been fishing Black Lake so long if I went somewhere else I probably feel as bad as if I had stepped out on my wife. lol.

That made me chuckle, Mr. J_ROW. Well, I hope that you and your son have a great time, catch a lot of fish, and make many memories. God bless.

We will Pastor. You and your young friend have a great time up on dabone and get him addicted to the thump. Hope ya'll catch a bunch.
