    Default D'Arbonne on Monday

Headin out to Lake D'Arbonne Monday and Tuesday, now that the annual outage at Graphic Packaging is about done.
Any suggestions on where to fish on the lake and any other info would be greatly appreciated. I am just getting back into fishing after a 7 year layoff. Everyone tells me fishing has been hard this year, but I feel like I've lost my touch. Been out four times and only caught 2 white perch, a couple of catfish and brim. Please excuse my whining, begging, pleading; it's a last ditch effort for some crappie success!

The last two times I went we fished 30 to 35 ft water about 20 feet deep and caught a few but the bite was light. As we left the Lake, We stoped to get Gas and Bro Talked a Guide. He said the fish were still doing good at 15 FOW, about 8 to 10 feet deep acording to Clouds and the Barometer where there old stump Fields. He also thought the fish are starting to Migrate

    Default D'Arbonne on Monday

Heading there Wednesday for an eleven day stay. Pulling the RV up and then bringing the boat. Fished the bone last year for the first time at the gathering. Haven't fished much this year thought I'd get in some serious time on the water.

Anybody know the name and phone number of a good guide for D'Abonne? Considering I have only fished it once I may try with a guide.

Yep, good luck with the fish, but watch the weather. I just watched the Sunday night weather at 10 O'clock and they are calling for the potential of some very strong winds for Monday. And I know from experience that D'Arbonne can get very ugly very fast.

You're all correct about the weather - I cancelled my vacation and decided to work instead. We had some down trees, took down the power line in front of the house. Like most everyone in Monroe, we are without power.
The nice thing is, after most rain in October, it starts getting cooler!

Thank you for your responses... I'll be out there on the 22nd and get a few days in before the outing.

Jigman_09 hope to see you out there before the event.
