    Does anyone know what this is. I snagged into whatever this is while crappie fishing today.

    We see them here often in the summer in quite backwaters. Kinda weird looking.

    grobur tagged it right. That's a very large one. Fish feeding on it causes it to take on a round shape. It is in the animal family and feeds on plankton.

    Black Lake out of Campti has them all around the bridge.
