Brush piles and any submerged timber/stumps. They didn't want much to do with any size, shape or color jigs I offered, only small shiners, which is why she whooped my butt. I started her with a shiner/slip cork setup and I started with jigs. Shiners won.Quote:

I know how tough it is to venture from your home lake, its about 5 miles to the Port O' Bistineau launch for me. Id love to go check out the Ouachita one of these days but when I know theres hungry crappie right down the road...makes it tough. And every time I go I learn something new..a brushpile, hidden stumps etc, just makes it easier for next time. Not to mention gas prices...Quote:
