    I would take both.....never know what they want.....sacs love worms also......

    its a chinquapin bream. some folks call them a red ear or a mason's bream. some folks call them a shell cracker. they are really fun to catch. much thicker than a blue gill.

    When I'm targeting chinqs I tightline worms on the bottom just like cat fishing but downsized

    To us SC and Ga boys that is a Shellcracker. Whatever you call them, they are fun to catch and eat.
