I used to think I needed a net until the fish proved me wrong. Then out of the blue sometime I hook one big enough and there it lays at the back of the boat. lol glad some of you got out today and enjoyed the weather.

Caught a few on the Bayou today. No luck until the sun popped out. Lost a few good ones, got to get a longer net.

I was going out there some. Put in a Holland's Bluff and at Lake Drain. Everybody I talked to were catching them close to the surface in the tops. I didn't have much luck the times I went.
Went back today and fished the same place I fished last week. Didn't get on the water until about 11:00 because of work. Caught 1 white perch. It was a good one, 14 inches, but had a abscess near the tail. Threw it back and no more bites. Water temp was 88 degrees, I think it was close to 80 last Sunday when I was catching. I put in at JoeBob's and went up the bayou to the powerlines.
