Henderson 9-15-14 - slow bite but managed a good mess

From what I saw the water was still coming up today. Fish were scattered everywhere and you definitely had to work for them. Same pattern ....shallow around the hydrilla. The water is more stained now so JuneBug / Chartreuse did the trick. Caught the majority of them later in the day. I'll tell u what...catching that bass on my 8ft. jig pole and 6 lb test was a hell of a time! Good luck to all and tight lines !

P.S. I heard from a reliable source that the locks will be opening tomorrow or Wednesday. The corps is waiting for an agency to check out the indian mounds ( artifact area ) and give the OK to open the locks again....so I am told. Just wanted to let everyone know what I heard

Very nice catch. I got skunked Saturday. Tried different types of black/chartreuse.
Grand daughter caught only fish of the day. Boy was she excited. It was worth me not catching to see her excitement.
