    Default D'Arbonne Catfish again

Bro, and I Gave the Catfish a hard time today ..... We started at 6:30 to 2:30 and almost had the lake to Ourselves. The water Temp was 72 Degrees and the water was like glass with no wind till noon. We kept 64 catfish and released at least another 20 or more. we only saw 4 boats fishing for Crappie. Most of them Caught 2 to 4 Fish. Bro had a tough day because he was awake all night without sleep before we hit the water.

Yall got me!!!!! yes to tight lining. on the edge of the channel. Deer Corn placed by several tree groupings that were easy to tie off to. Several places only yielded fish too small to keep. We started using Three poles but found we had too many poles out when I had on 3 fish at the same time and Bro had on Two, all were smaller and we managed to boat them. The Bait was the big cold Worms and Red wigglers to help keep the small hunks of Cold worms on the hooks. Many of them were too small , but Having swollowed it, killing them removing the hooks. The little Buggers were so stuffed full of corn . Bro said at times Gas bubbles came off the bottom from where bigger fish were dining. he did catch his share of the bigger ones
