Butte LaRose Launch

I'm taking my OLD veteran buddies to Henderson Thursday. Is the launch under the interstate usable for a glass bass boat or do we need to go to Henderson to launch?

I launched there this morning in an 18ft xpress. It was fine. Just have to trim up and watch the edges of the ramp.

I surprised somebody dosen't mark the drop off if it's harmful. I guess some corner posts would be in the way most of the time.

We went today but launched at the Basin Landing. It was really tough for us. We had 4 sacs and lost 4 more nice ones at the boat. We also has 3 garfish and 2 goo. Quit at 11:30.

We did enjoy it. One of the guys is a WW II Battle of the Bulge veteran and it is always a privilege to spend time in a boat (or anywhere else) with him.
