    Default Short strike jig?

Last weekend while long lining jigs I had many short strikes in the prime locations where I caught crappie so I threw together some jigs with a stinger hook. What do you guys think. will they work? Any input would be appreciated.Attachment 172849Attachment 172851

I can't see a single reason that won't work. I can honestly say I have never seen a crappie jig with a trailer hook. but man does it look good.

As we used to say in the coon hunting woods, "That dog will hunt." Do they come in other colors?

Let us know how it works and if there is any difficulty taking a fish off.

I'm going to try them longlining . I think they would hang right with a tight knot vs loop knot
