I had 5 bypass surgery in 2000 and had to stay longer than should have, but my heart was not beating in sinus rhythm so even though a couple of Ablations later it still didn't get fixed all the way, I have been fine and just take blood thinners. So just let her take it slow and steady getting strength back. Just tell her to get well and strong again!
