Your bait will be down from the weight as much as it normally would with 3 foot of line out, Arkie not as much as a 300. In your illustrations if the weight is at 10 foot then a 300 would be running at 11 foot. In Gs illustration with 10 foot of line out the bait would be at 6 foot.
