we went with a guide compliments of a contractor at work. he must have ovewr 100 brush piles out there. we were on the far south end of the lake. we fished in housen and the main lake. some of the spots we didn't catch a single fish. but most of them we caught 10 or so and moved on to the next one. all in all we caught 62 crappie. totally filled up 2 48Q ice chests. smallest one we caught wqas over a pound and a half. half several in the two and a half range. it was such fast action the only pic I got was the second cooler about half full.

it was a good time. I would highly recommend this guide if anyone ever wants to go on a pretty much guaranteed catching trip.

Fishing with guides may be the cheapest form of fishing and often the most successful.

Housen has some of the best water on the lake IMHO! Put in at Fin and Feather for many years before I moved here on 6 mile which is the finger just below Housen. Looks like you did well. Who was your guide as people are always asking me about a guide here??
