Anyone use one of these?Attachment 170659
You can buy a large package of plastic beads ( color really does not matter....I usually get green).... in the craft dept at walmart a lot cheaper than you can in the fishing dept. I buy them that way and then order the sinker stops at BPS....lots cheaper that way.
Yep....finally converted to graphite poles a few years back.....

Yep!!
they work great.
here's my favorite bobber setup....
Thillâ„¢ Pro Series Slip Bobber Floats - Unweighted | Bass Pro Shops
easy to watch the bright pink stopper crawl up to the bobber...
good indicator that a sac has hit your jig or shiner on the way down...
I fish in Lake Verret a bunch, and I use the JB Salter bream hooks all the time, love fishing for bream on the bottom.
I'll tie a bobber stopper about a couple of feet above the bream hook an wait for the stopper to move, then set the hook.
theygotaeat, I've never experienced that. I have some on my braid lines that have been on for a year with no problem.

I always make sure my line is wet before sliding the bobber stopper....easier and cuts down on wear....
