Starting August 1st:
Inspection Exemptions for Certain Trailers: New amendments to LA inspection sticker requirements exempt single axle two-wheeled trailers and boat trailers from state inspection requirements and the obligation to bear a valid safety inspection certificate/sticker. While exempted from the inspection process, the trailers must still possess the required safety equipment to operate on Louisiana roadways.

Good deal since I never had a sticker and it was rarely enforced. I got a ticked for expired truck sticker once and the trooper didn't ask about the trailer. With all the laws in effect on everything we are all probably illegal in some respect.Originally Posted by pbouy
