I decided to go to the camp this weekend to check things out and get a few things done. The lake looked good but is starting to drop due to lack of rain.The salvinia has not taken over yet but there small its floating around.
I did not find any hydrilla which I thought was a good thing.

One thing I got done was to put some glide on pads on my boat trailer bunks.
They really work and make it much easier to load and unload my boat.
I highly recommend them.

I did get a chance to go out fishing twice. caught one in the open water on a beetle spin is all. Other than that the white perch were just not biting. everyone I talked to said the fishing over the last few days had shut off.
But it was worth the trip and they will bite again soon I am sure.
