Thanks for the Chicot report Dapet. My cousin and his wife the other day and managed a mess in the heat, water temp was 91 degrees. He said they were real strong smelling. Looks like rain is hitting the lake now, might be good tomorrow.

Hit the lake about 6:45 with son in law. I heard the chickapin were biting in the cypress trees. But first, I tried for white perch in the channel near the spillway on the north end . Caught one right away. that's all I caught for the next hour. So we left and went into the Branch area, near the bridge that crosses the lake. We started catching some bream and chickapin. Lots of small throwbacks, but we did manage to keep a dozen fish altogether. Fried them up yesterday afternoon. I tried to post a pic, but the uploader says the file is too big. I don't know how to adjust it.

Good report Dapet......to "resize" your pictures.....see below....
You probably have a program called "paint" on your computer....this is how to resize it in "paint".....
put the picture on your desktop....right click it and this window opens....then click "Resize".......
then this window opens....under "Resize", choose "Pixels" and change the horizontal to 640 and the vertical changes automatically.....click "OK" and save it to your desktop...
there are probably other ways....this is how I do it......hope this helps....

Good to hear you're trying to wear that boat out
There you go. PF, you know your stuff. I've taken lots of pics and posted them before. Why did the camera save it in such a large format?
By the way, I went back yesterday and it was terrible. I only caught 5 keepers. All bream. Beat the rain by seconds.
