Houston River 5/19 & 5/23

I hit the river the past few days. On Monday I caught 15 sacs and 3 bass. Today 24 sacs and 5 bass. I caught them on shiners in 12 to 20 fow from 18in to 8ft deep. Both days I must have thrown back 2 or 3 for each fish caught. Water temp 73 on Monday and 78 today. The tide was going out early and the fishing was slow. Once the tide slacked the fish turned on. Tomorrow I am going to get more shiners. Today they would not touch a jig. I talked to a few other fishermen and none were catching. I was continuously popping the cork to make them bite. If I didn't they wouldn't bite. I will post pics later.

Took a sink pic before cleaning them. Found 4 sacs and 2 bass with eggs.
