    Default Lake Providence Early June

Hey y'all new to forum but I was wondering if y'all could give me an idea what the Bream will be doing on Lake Providence first week or two of June. Originally I'm from West Monroe, but now live in Georgia. Got a trip planed to visit family in West Carroll parish and was hoping to get some fishing in with my cousin. Thanks for all yalls help.

You won't hear any reports for lp on here. I used to fish it when I lived up that way. Good luck.

Welcome to Crappie.com from Baton Rouge........I do not remember anyone ever posting about LP, but, maybe someone from up that way knows something they can share....I have driven past it several times going up to Arkansas and it is a pretty lake....

I lived in Savannah for 6 months back in 1960.....

Lake Providence is pretty high right now with all the rain we are having. Don't know about the bream, but the bass have been doing fair lately. We just received about 3 or 4 inches of rain and it is stained pretty good. The bream and catfish should be picking up soon. Most usually use ultralights with crickets and do quite well with both species. If I hear more will post it. Our oldest daughter and her family live on the lake.
