    Default D'Arbonne 4/21

Spent a few windy hours on D'Arbonne this afternoon. The lake is almost back down to pool stage and the water has cleared up considerably since last Friday. I only managed 3 rather small ones fishing the 10' flats.

Is it better there at pool stage or when the water is higher. I'm going there for a week at the end of May. I hope we catch some fish when we go. Doesn't matter what kind , just going for family vacation.

Don't know about the Ouachita Lakes but I think that's where I might try next.

I asked that question yesterday, all my answers were no. One very good fisherman went on the river Friday and got zero.

I was wondering what it looked like below the spillway as far as launching a boat...

I'm waiting on the water below the spillway to get right & I might take a few days off when it does!

I was fixing to start fishing off the river, then the rains hit and everything was rising or muddy or both.
