Tiger have you ever fished Old River Dam?

Never heard of it. I am looking for a place to go. With all this high water, I don't know?? Thinking about making a run to Henderson or Toledo for a couple of days. I guess the Mermantau is muddy as heck from the rain and rice fields? May even try Bundicks, but I see it is still high. I'm open for suggestions.
