Don't overlook the open water. When you pass under the bridge, go a couple of hundred yards and then fish off to the right in the open water. Fish about 8' deep.
Under the bridge toward the main lake ? Sorry it says Baton Rouge I'm from Ruston! Thanks fellas
I like going under the bridge at Stowe Creek and taking a right and fish in that 8-10 fow. There is a shallow hump between under the bridge and the camps to the right (not real far from the north bank). I would check that shallow area for spawning fish and then go back into 8-10 fow. Just fish that flat around stumps and see what happens. Stowe is a really good post spawn area and that depth is perfect for that. Fish out from those camps and you should have some action and work your way around that area...SLIP
You go under the bridge headed up the inlet, away from the main lake. After you pass under the bridge, the open water to the right is good (where Slip-Cork is talking about). Also try the stump field straight out from the landing.
