    Default Rise on Larto

The site I use is showing Larto up almost 6 inches. Can someone verify that?

    Default Rise on a Larto

Had some pretty heavy rain late yesterday and last night. Not a productive day fishing for us. But there's always tomorrow

Hey Tiger if you have access to computer go to: rivergages.com then click on Vicksburg district then click on Ouachita river basin then scroll down to Larto Lake. The present stage as of 8pm is 38.14 with 0.70 rise and 2.48" rainfall in last 24 hr.and normal pool stage is 38.50, Hope this helps, but I need a good report from that area if you go, even if you have to PM me! lol GOOD LUCK!!!!~~<*{{{{<<

That is the site I use. Thanks. I am going in the morning for a few days. I love to fish Larto when above 38, but I am concerned about fishing it so soon after the rise. Also wondering if the rain cooled the water off. I will report when I return.

The app I have on my phone has it up almost a foot and almost 4 inches of rain.
It's called river flows and free too if I remember correctly

Good luck Tiger...Forget the Buzzard Roost, Long Branch should be getting right. The weather just needs to settle. It will warm starting mid week. Should be good this coming week....SLIP

Water temp was 63 and the water was up a 6-8" at Long branch. The yoyos I saw had a lot of white perch on the this morning. No one seemed to be doing well shallow or spider, I got 18, 11 in about 30 minutes in a favorite spot in long branch.
