    Default Spawnng Slabs

Caught these last Saturday in one of our favorite gravel pits. The pit is shallow and always warms before any of the other ones do each year. In fact, before all this cold weather last week, this pit had warmed to 58-59 dgrs...and that was enough.

they were in about 1' of water next to the trees along the bank...biggest fish was 16" long and weighed 2lbs 12oz!

One pole jigging with only 3' of line out on a 9' pole made for some interesting net jobs! More fun than a redneck should be allowed to have...thank ya Lord!
