Default Took a little trip to Stevensville

Well, first of all, had nooooo problem parking. That's a good thing, right? I knew something wasn't right. Maybe everyone's at d'arbonne. lol Well, I wound up catching 10 bass on jigs and shiners. 5 were big enough to keep. Caught a big sacalait in the afternoon, then I hooked a big super black one. Got off at the boat. When I grabbed the line to pull him in, he shook his head, the hook popped loose and then he disappeared. Shoulda used the net. Oh well, that rarely happens to me, so I guess it was my turn. And I also caught 2 catfish. I think I caught my first sacalait of the year. Wooooo Hooooo I haven't caught this many bass fishing for sacalait before.

Last weekend Chicot and this weekend Stevensville.

Water temp was 57 in the am and 60 in the late afternoon. Won't be long if we stop getting these cold fronts, but as you all know, that's Louisiana weather for ya.

good job with the fishing...sorry to hear that one that got off but you will think about that one for much longer than any fish you get in the boat.....

Went Sunday 3/9 caught 2 nice ones and missed 2 more about the same size. Both were full of eggs, that brings up the question are they late bloomers are did the spawn not happen yet? Everyone I talked to was not doing good!! Better luck next time. It was better than being at work.
