Default Larto now on the radar...

March coming soon which means a trip to Larto. Going on 3-12 to check things out. Water and weather is always a crap shoot but it looks like the timing will be pretty good this year. Looks like 49 deg water there today. I'm meeting a couple of super WP pros and very good friends. I always learn a couple things from these gents. I'm hoping we'll get a few of those gals at the buttonwood bush front door or staging right offshore. Gotta go to know. Bud's No.2, come by....SLIP

Wish I could go but I will be on an outage at work at that time. Be sure to let us know how you do!

Some friends from work went yo-yo-ing last week on wed-thu-fri and did very poorly. They had 30 or so but only 10 were white perch the rest were catfish. I also have two other reports; one was a scratch and the other caught only 4. Both from this past week. All said the water is high and muddy. Hope this helps.
Only need three more years before I can think like a fish.

Thanks JC, sounds tuff for sure. I saw that pool stage at Larto was 38.5 and its now under 38 and falling even after the 2.5 incher earlier this week. Just hope the weather lines out after the coming front tonight.
