We may now be seeing the effects of the lake staying at a lowered level for several consecutive years...

Well, there you go. That's the difference between a thousand star general and a wall hanger.
Terry,Matthew and I fished Darbonne Saturday above the 33 bridge and caught 31 good fish. After church Sunday Kim wanted to go and we ended up with 33.The best colors were blk/char,orange/char and pink panther. We were fishing about 16 to 18 ft deep in about 28 to 32 ft of water.
way to go David...almost all whites........

Tommy, it just goes to prove that I always go either to the wrong place or on the wrong day.
20Watt, I think you might be right. Poverty Point was so low for so long, I wonder what effect it had on the spawn. I know there were 2 or 3 years where the water was so low you couldn't catch much along the rocks where they usually spawn. Other members have said they will spawn somewhere no matter what but I wonder what the survival rate is when spawning conditions are poor.
