What's the deal on this place, sure looks nice from the road but everything I find about it says the fishing is terrible.

Fishing went down hill year by year starting around 2002. Haven't been in several years. Something is definitely wrong with the fishery. Needs another drawdown.

Don't waste your time...not only does the fishing suck the boat launch area has a mud flat right in front of it. It's a shame cause my grandpaw would take me there about 20 years ago and we caught some very nice bass and sacalait out there. Not sure if the landowners around the lake removed the trees in the lake or they died but that is when the fishing went downhill.

The other day, when I drove by, there was more trailers then I've ever seen there before........ 1! That's too bad though, it'd be an easy trip from Broussard.
