    Wow water will be backing up into Henderson by Friday!! River up to 10.4 by Friday

    The Lake Pelba gauge says 10.73', and the gauge on the river over Butte LaRose says 7.07'. I guess I don't quite understand how this works, is the control structure closed on the south end?

    River levels with structures at 9 ft anything above it will back up into Henderson!!

    Run off from the rain. It will get worse once we get the snow melt from the North - much worse. Here's the gauge next to my driveway for the Vermillion:

    I think these two gauges have different datum points so they don't read the same, but should follow the same pattern, unless Northern locks are open and river is below 9'.
