Crooked Creek 2-13-2014

fished the Creek yesterday from 2:30 to 5:30. Not a bite. fished along the bank a while with a jig under a cork and spider rigged some shiners down the main creek. Nothing. but it was nice to be out on the water. I saw a snow goose take off in front of me when I went into a cove. He was a lost goose!! And i think I saw an eagle. big old bird took off from the top of a tall pine.

Will go somewhere tomorrow. dont know exactly where. Maybe Larto.

Yea, it was good just to get out. I was getting cabin fever.

Thanks for the report Dapet. I plan to hit Crooked Creek and Cocodrie next week. There is an eagles nest on the north end of C.C.
by the Islands.
