    Default Henderson...2/9.....Beautiful Day...Tuff Fishing....

Fished 7 to 2.....shiners & white spinnerbait.....RR piling, North Bigeaux, Bayou Fordoche (muddy & very fast current), North Pelba, South Bigeaux......fished 3 ft to 18 ft.......North Pelba is extremely clear....see your bait for 3 ft down.....most folks I talked to had one or 2 or none.....heard the bass was doing good so I tried that for a while.....water temps from 47 (most everywhere) to 49 in Pelba.....talked to a guy from Youngsville fishing with his wife and son.....he had a Tracker just like Randy's....said it was his 5th trip in it.....he seemed interested in joining CDC.....I forget who but we have another member from there....a guy at the launch gave me his only bass..... I caught one bass and one sac......

Both bass were 15 1/2 in long.....seems like every since they changed the size limit, all I catch are over 14"....

I'm seeing steady rise on Pelba gage for the last week. Think that effected them? At 10.2 right now which is up a foot in 8 days.

I see the river is at 6.09 and rising and Pelba gauge is at almost 10.5 and rising. The water is coming down through Fordoche, the control structure on the south end must be closed?
