I hope you have a good time in Louisiana. I wish I could help but that area is about 5 hours south of me. If I were a betting man I would bet that someone from that area will chime in real soon.

Gentlemen-
Coming down to work at the Williams Olefins plant for about month starting next week. Hoping someone might pass along some fishing info. Not looking for your secret spots but some ideas on where to pass the time after work and on Sunday. Thanks in advance.

The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
come on down.....you will love the local food.....I promise you......hope you have a good stay here......fishing is all around the area.....are you bringing a boat.....bank fishing is very limited......a lot depends on exactly where you will be staying as that will determine the distance you have to drive to the launch......I live in Baton Rouge and most places I fish are at least one hour away.....there is river fishing to the East.....marsh fishing to the South...Lakes and Bayou fishing all over.....I would pick one spot and just fish it if I was only going to be here for one month.....the most convenient for me is Henderson Lake, located halfway between Baton Rouge and Lafayette on Interstate 10....about 40 miles away.....
I would be happy to sit down with you and some maps and go over some different spots if you like....
have a safe trip....
