Water temps mid-fifties and fish caught on various color jigs 12 inches under cork and looking like they were wanting to or were spawning. Caught them right up on the bank!
Today, fish dropped back down into deeper water, about 10-20 feet off the bank with a jig 3 feet under a cork. Fish not as aggressive(they were coming up and attacking the cork) as Sunday, but biting well!!
Limited out by 2:00 Sunday and today at 2:30. Amazing run this year...think we'll be good for Lent this year!! Better bring the boss some filets for letting me go today!!

You sure know how to warm a person up on cold snowy days! I've doing aerator work on my boat including installing new wiring with fuse block included to help eliminate future problems. I much rather fish than do boat maintenance but took advantage of the bad weather to be ready for the spawn. Looks like I should have been fishing! With 2 aerators on stern 2 recirculating aerators for livewells and dual bilge pump system I have been putting it off for awhile but all finished now. Thank you so much for the great post and pics!
Now go do it again. ~~<*{{{{<<
