Most of the boats are still fishing in and around the Buzzard's Roost. Last time I went I fished past the Buzzard's Roost going to Shad Lake. I caught 18, but I would say half of them were over a pound. They were nice fish. I fished jigs 12-14' deep in 18 FOW. Best colors were blk/red/chart, pink/chart and solid chart. Good Luck! Let us know how it turns out for you.
Only need three more years before I can think like a fish.

Wish I could make it up there! I really like fishing that area. Best of luck to you and let us know how you do.

Good Luck, should be some monster tight lining. Going March 12-16 with 2 sure nuff pros. Hope it isn't too high. I have a feeling that our old friend the mighty Miss. River is going to make a huge move up this spring. There's a huge snow pack up north. We might even see ice floating in the river this year. This past Jan. ranks in the top 10 coldest January's over the last 120 years.
