Default Visit Me at either the KNOE Boat show or Bass Pro Crappie Classic!

It's been a whirlwind year to say the least and this is only mid-January! Since forming the "Bayou State Crappie Assassin's" I have had so many opportunities to meet fellow crappie anglers and great supporters of our sport. I really enjoy that aspect of the duties that come with such a task. Which brings me to this post as an invitation to all my crappie.com comrades. The following weeks are full of opportunities with the KNOE Boat and Outdoors Show being held in Monroe Jan 24th,25th, and 26th and the Bass Pro Shops Crappie Classic Event, Bossier City to be held on 2 seperate weekends Feb. 7th and 8th and again on Feb. 14th and 15th.

I have been given locations at both events. I will be at the KNOE Boat Show on Friday and Saturday! And I will also be participating in the Crappie Classic and perhaps hosting a seminar as well. This is a great opportunity for me to meet more "Crappie Folks" and share the news of our organization the "Bayou State Crappie Assassin's"

For more information just PM me here and I will be glad to answer any questions. As a recap of the events from this past year here is a paste from another distribution letter.

    Bayou State Crappie Assassin's-UPDATE

If you have received this email, it is because at some point I have contacted you or vise-versa concerning our organization, The "Bayou State Crappie Assassin's"* I feel it is easier to contact such a large audience with this style of form letter.* You are important to our group or I would have discarded your email long ago.* I feel it is time to track our progress and update those of you that may be curious about where we are and where we are heading.

Its hard to believe that it has already been 8+ months since we first started putting this organization together.* The first 5 months were strictly planning, organization, and promotion.* Since November of 2013 we have been in full swing as a tournament club.* All planning has gone accordingly with the exception of having to cancel one event due to weather conditions.* February 1st will mark our 3rd Tournament and the next several months will be very busy.*

    How did we get here?
Commitment and support!* This is the first year of-course, but we are already looking ahead to what next season holds and how we might grown and make adjustments.* All of this effort and work is not for one season, we are committed to moving ahead and growing along the way.*I have and will continue to take every opportunity to put our Logo and Information in the hands of crappie anglers all across North Louisiana.
    *
    Examples :
We have from the very beginning been on the Social Media Express with Facebook Page and Groups*and web sites such as Crappie.com.* spreading the information of activities, tournament results*and sponsor support that we have gained.

Local News has been a reliable source as well, making headlines in various printings across North Louisiana and landing a full page ad from well none outdoor writer Mr. Glynn Harris.

Radio Shows: such as Glynn Harris Outdoors and Souther Outdoors have both allowed us private interviews as special guest over the air-ways.
    *
Sportsman's Expo in Farmerville, La (addition of several members and door prizes for the youth)*along with the up-coming KNOE Boat and Outdoor Show.*and*the Bass Pro Shops Crappie Madness event ( In which we have been invited to give a siminar and talk about our Club). all of*these are positive steps we are taking to insure we are available to the Crappie Angler.

Appearances in the Slab Blaster news letter created by Mr. Crappie "Wally Marshall" is just yet another source of exposure.

So as you can see we are very active in many forms and publications!!

But what's all this without the members, we have in this first year assembled a near 40 person member list.*Growth was continuous and we have seen a slight decrease during the Hunting Season, but now that we are past that phase we should start to see a re-newed interest and begin to pick up new members as we move forth.*Members are in full support and show dedication to fish in even adverse weather conditions.* Our fist event in November*was a great turnout with 22 members participating in the drizzle, December was cancelled due to severe weather forecast, and*January produced windy conditions but members*continue to show up*and fished a productive tournament.* We are hoping for a break in weather conditions*to say the least.* March will be an exciting event on Lake Darbonne, where we plan to have an after party following the tournament.* It will be a time to eat, discuss club news and get to know fellow members.* All in all I think we are doing fantastic!
    *
Members support has been wonderful.* I don't have to list each of you, but if you have supported us then you know who you are.* If you wish to become a supporter, I am only an email away.* I think this email will give a nice over-view of what is taking place.* Mostly*I hope it shows that we are serious and we are not a fly by the seat of our pants type of club.* We have a goal and a list of accomplishment we have made along the way to that goal.**We will continue to do so!
    *
Please receive this as an effort on*my part to inform you of our status, and please don't be a stranger.* If you have questions, feel free to email me.* My contacts are listed below.* Also you may find us on Crappie.com listed under "Bayou State Crappie Assassin's"* in a sub forum of the Louisiana main forum. Or search for us n Facebook and apply to become a member of our closed group or Like our "Page" and receive updates, this place is full of information and you can get the full affect of what was highlighted here.
