Larto today @ Buzzard's Roost
Total count: 18 plus one busted jig pole. Hey Doc! Can I borrow one.Shiner fisherman had the upper hand early. Then I started gaining on 'em.
Then towards the end, this fella trolled up the middle of us and was tearing them a new one. I watched real close and spied his secret; crappie nibbles. Ah-hah! Note to self must get a fresh jar.
Only need three more years before I can think like a fish.

Was that Slab Hunter you saw going through the middle and tearing them up? He has a tendacy to do that but what is really aggreavating is you can be right beside him and not catch a thing! Ask me how I know!lol

It was a tan Triton Alum rig with a 90 Honda. He had 5 or 6 poles off the front in rod holders. They were 12' poles with 5 jigs on each. I was fishing right beside him at one point and watched him haul in 5 keepers. My two poles, which I hold, not a bump. It was something to see.Was that Slab Hunter you saw going through the middle and tearing them up?
