Daughter and granddaughter are in town for a few days......I said fishing......they said just give me a pole with a bobber and I'll be happy.....so, we will give it a shot tomorrow.....looks like the moon and stars are lined up....but who knows......

I'll be looking for any of you guys who might be there.....

Hello to all on the board. This is my first post I have been reading for a couple weeks now. I am off tomorrow and was thinking of going somewhere local to catch a few sac a lait. Made two trips up to Toledo Bend in the last month but they weren't bitting like I hoped. The second trip was the weekend after New Years and I caught more catfish on shiners at the Chicken Coop than I did slabs!

Welcome to the forum "Grab Da Net". Hopefully the Bend will get better by out gathering next weekend, if not we'll eat a lot and do some sightseeing.

Thanks Gene! the weather was another factor when I went up there on both trips. it doesnt take long gor that lake to get choppy! Thinking about going back to Toledo Bend the weekend after ya'll gathering. I work every other weekend so I am limited on when I can make it up there.
