Well I woke up excited about today's fishing adventure, but a little groggy. Went to bed last night with the anticipation of falling asleep rapidly as usual and getting up around 4 am full of pep and energy. It didn't go off quite like that. I had just settled in good around 10 pm when my wife walked in the bedroom and begin talking to me about our son. He's a truck driver and had left to deliver a load to Houston. He only got to Morgan City when he developed a problem with his trailer lights. He had called her really upset about his situation but was checking best he could for a solution. After Linda woke me I got on the phone with him and had him explain to me what was the problem. This is a brand new trailer which shouldn't have problems. He told me what he had checked but came up empty. Now he's a pretty good mechanic by his own rights but this one had him puzzled. After we discussed it a while I walked him through some steps to try to eliminate the problem step by step. When we got to step 7 or 8, BINGO, he found the problem which he quickly fixed. A wire had a nick and was grounding out. He found it because he saw it spark in the dark when he moved the wire.
Thanks Vet for the help!! We did it again.
Well it took me a long while to get back to sleep and I slept restless the balance of the night. So here I am getting ready to start an exciting trip and I'm already tired. But that's alright as we plan on perking up the day by catching some fish. The conditions are all falling into place. The pressure is low and falling, a front coming in from the west and a line of shower is coming with it. It's suppose to rain overnight and end early tomorrow. The period between the rain and the frontal passage should be a great catching opportunity. I hope the plan all comes together. I will post the results tomorrow evening. Looking forward to fishing with my new friend "Fast".
