    Question caddo at mooringsport?


    thinking of going to mooringsport at caddo lake Saturday.
    anyone have any info? turkey geezer and myself have been to johnsons ranch
    and cross the last 2 weeks and cant seem to find the crappie
    the geezer took some nice vids and pics of bald eagle feeding on shad the pelicans
    were gorging themselves on he said he would post pics later

    I work the railroad and bridge if wind not high. You can try white hair jigs and black and char.hair about 8-10 fow.

    The one time I went there, boats were piled up behind the house on the hill (if I remember it right). We pulled them in hard and heavy for about an hour, then some heavy rains hit and the bite quit. Went back a couple times after that with no luck. That was several years ago.

    Thanks JM4 tried the train trestle
    Caught the biggest fish of the year for me 2.9lb on my version of the grey ghost .Turkey geezer caught his best of the year also.We only caught 4 crappie before the wind blew us off the lake. All caught on hair jigs
