    Default Bundick's Lake Update

W&F has just posted on their site some completed tasks and WIP projects during the present drawdown. One of note is the creation of a new pier at the spillway launch-site. Now I'll have somewhere to escape to if Dwyane's boat sinks at the ramp!

Hey Pete, I saw that new pier and it is nice! They need to bring the lake back up so I can launch my boat! I plan on trying to make a trip there next week in my canoe.

    Dwyane -
The news release stated that they were taking the lake down 7 feet rather than five, but they still intend to close the gates on 14 January. It should fill up pretty fast then.
    Bon chance cher!

I believe it's www.wlf.st.la.us. I tried that on my machine, and it worked, so...
Holler if it doesn't, and I'll see what else I can find.
