Thread: A few more from Bayou Benoit

They were not jumping in the boat, but came home with enough for supper. Saw only one other fisherman all day and he was after bass....good, more sac au lait for me...Water south of the landing was pretty bad so had to move around a bit, finally catching a few around 6 foot deep. There was no real pattern, some caught on the drop offs to deeper water and some on isolated timber in at least 10 foot of water. That 1/32 hair jig in a gray minnow pattern is still putting them in the boat, kept 16. One more trip to the Basin then speckled trout season starts for me...hope ya'll had a good sac au lait season too...BC...
