I have a bunch of that stuff, but just started using the tiny ones on tHe jig as I said in your Help post. I should have tried them a lot more since I have had tHem for a couple years, LOL!

How are you fishing them Russ? I use the small ones to troll. I put them on a sickle hook and hook a real minnow in the lip behind them. The ones I get are the 1" fry. Seems to work as well as anything else. I don't know about jigging with them. They have a smell but don't move like a real shiner. Maybe it doesn't make much difference, but a dead shiner has a smell and I don't catch many fishing with those either.

What I really want to try is I have some 100% shad oil and I want to put just a drop on my jig. Doubt that jig could ever go back in the box though. Adding a touch of smell has worked for fish a long time now, so I figure if you put even just are e of Glup minnow on your jig it can't hurt and may help!
