Ouch!!!!!

Not trying to start anything here, jig rig, but that prop is on backwards. That bright ring goes inside the lower unit and the retaining nut should not be visible. If you been running it that way you have been loosing a lot of performance.

You need to look at the direction of the cup on the blade.

If that ring is brite on a painted prop it's rubbing the lower unit housing. HTH

X2, also once you get a new one on try to tell if their is any vibration that was not there before. Prop Shaft is not really hard to bend when whacking something with the prop like that.
