Met up with another CDC member

Met another CDC member today for the first time, pbouy (Paul Bouy) after he sent out an invitation for someone to join him in fishing the lower basin.
Dpisani and I accepted the invitation and launched our boats from Adams Landing around 7am this morning. Didn't have much success with the sacalait, but Danny and I did manage to catch 4 nice size bass. This was my first trip down there and I really liked it. All in all we had a good day until black clouds started moving in. We were lucky enough to get the boat loaded before the heavens opened up. Unfortunately I can't say the same for Paul. He was right behind us but just didn't make it in time. I believe he might have gotten a little wet Thanks again Paul for the invite and hope to see you again on the water soon.

I glad to hear that 2 fine and outstanding CDC members were able to accept his invite. I would have liked to do it myself if I wasn't involved up to my neck in a big project. It's good to see that y'all had a good time even if the fish weren't biting. It's always nice to meet other members and see new places.

It was great meeting ceegee and dpisani today. I found a few nice goggle eyes to the right but alas the sacs just weren't in the mood I guess. It was fun anyway until I got soaked! Do you know how hard it is to secure a boat while holding an umbrella? I'm glad nobody else was out there. They might have heard a few choice words. LOL It was still a great day!
