    Default Henderson 7/20/13

Headed to Lake Pelba early AM and caught and released a lot of smaller bream, only kept two decent sized ones. Got into N. Bigeaux around 11 and... wait for it... caught my first two sacs when I was actually trying to catch them! Nothing huge, but it got me excited to actually catch and learn why I caught them in the area that I did. Caught on beetlespin black/char. Once the bad weather rolled in I headed out, Im guessing I couldve stayed and the bite may have picked up later in the afternoon.

    Cool

Nice Job on the catch.....nothing like figuring out what you have been pursuing !!! A lot of times people are scared to try things that they are not familiar with.....that's how I learned to catch sac a lait....self taught. If what you are doing is not working make a move. Try deeper water, try a different bait, try a different color, try fishing different depths, fish an area you have never fished before....you will surprise yourself when you see the results ! Tight Lines !
