Default CCA Constructing Artificial Reef in Vermilion Bay

It's being built right off Cypremort Point, should be done in a couple weeks weather permitting. Word is that it will be kayak accessible, which hopefully means its 16ft bass boat accessible.

You will have no problem going out there in a 16 foot bass boat. Unless there is a 15-20mph wind out the sw or straight west wind. Be prepared to have plenty of company it will be a magnet to most anglers once finished. They claim it will be a 8 acre reef, pretty large area.

I've only taken my boat out there once, we launched in Delcambre and ran down to Avery canal but didn't venture out much further. I want to make a few trips to the east side of the bay this fall and fish the well heads.
