Very nice, how deep you fishing? Guess the next mess of fish i catch i'll have to lay the fish out on the hood of the wife's car

fished the edges of the sloughs 12 to 15 ft. of water 8 to 10 ft deep. I got educated by a guy that lives on the lake. We were both fishing the same slough but I choose to fish the deeper parts 16 to 18 ft water, he stayed out in the 12 to 14 ft. He quit at 9:30 with 23. I didn't have but 11 at that time. By the way I would leave the wife's car alone

Hard to beat that local knowledge. One of the locals schooled me below the spillway a couple months ago, wish i could remember that fellows name, he was a whiz at casting a jig
