by the way, do these normally get filleted or scale and gut or just personal preference? I filleted them because of time constraints and as you all know, I am in need of practice and bream don't seem easy to filet.:dono
I like them both ways but I prefer bream scaled and cooked whole.

My dad had a unique method and sometimes I copy it, but mostly I filet if they are large enough. Anyway he would scale the fish and cut off the head. Then he would filet off one side. He prefered on the bone, momma prefered filet. :twocents
