Hey everybody!
I fished Henderson yesterday morning from about 9:30 to 3:00…long time! Caught a few, but it seems to me that the quality and quantity is going down. All were caught in the Phillips canals…punching lilies and duck seed on Black and chartruse tube jigs. Water got blacker the further north west you go, but sometimes a fish would bite anyway; guess they are sticking close to the lilies and duck seed because the water was so clear and black…all in all, had a fun day. Also caught a few large bream, golge-eye, one large bass and and a very big chink-a-pen, as you can see.

thanks for the report DA........still, a nice looking mess.....sounds like you had to work a little harder for them....I really wanted to go Saturday but still not recovered yet......looks like a week of rain so maybe next Friday.......

have a trip ached. for friday pm. let me know if you go. i know you r an early am fisherman. but i could use your advice to catch an extra fish and break the record...hope you r better....

hey Tal.....thanks, feeling much better.......checked the weather I managed to get out today (see my report under "Fishing to close)......not much to report.....caught 3 in the Phillips canal but not a sac.....I probably won't make it Friday, Saturday and Sunday....we're gonna have to hook up and make a trip soon.....
