Well I finally managed to bring my dad on a trip today. We battled through the hurricane force winds to catch a few but it was pretty tough. The fish were not aggresive at all! I would get a few bumps on my bettle spin but most of the time that was it, no fish taking off with it. We did manage to catch most of our bream on crickets, threw back a bunch! Funny how I always manage to catch at least one sac au lait to keep it on topic! lol
Well here is me with the only keepable sac au lait and the only one I caught, dad did manage to catch 3 other small ones.
Gene, and Pete, I wanted to make sure yall noticed the hat!!!
Dad with a really nice bream
I told dad that we brought shiners but he insisted on catching his own! and yes he caught him on a cricket.
And a gator pic and a few pics for Mrs. Diddi of a blue hering on the drive out.

A Bad Day of Fishing is Better Than a Good Day of Work!
Dwayne, you can't catch fish in hunting clothes, it's not proper attire. Well anyway you got to go boat riding and spend time with your Dad. Nothing wrong with that. Thanks for he pictures and report, that is some great looking marsh.

Nice pictures Dwayne, enjoyed them. Thanks for posting. Seems to me you always catch better when your daughter is along.

Thanks for the pics Dewayne, takes skill to catch a shiner![]()
Danny, I always bring that rod as a back up!Dad was using the ultralight spin cast until he got a knot in it that he couldn't undo so I handed him that 202 while I worked on the spin cast, got down to the last knot and the line broke!
Luckily I still had enough line to retie and continue fishing. Dad stayed with the 202 though.
